About Patrik

Patrik Widell

I am a creator, speaker, TV profile, Team Lost co-founder, police officer, father and adventurer.

Through my channels and projects, I have built a platform where content, training, outdoor, events, gaming, safety and community meet.

One day it can be a conversation with young people about life online, the next a run, an event, a shoot or a collaboration in a place that deserves to be seen.

My drive is to build trust. I want more people to feel safe, dare to move, understand each other better and find community - online and in real life.

Background

From police work to social media, training, adventure and speaking.

I have always moved between different worlds. Police work taught me a lot about people, stress, trust and what happens when communication really needs to work. Social media gave me another way into those conversations: faster, closer and often more honest. Training and adventure became my way to challenge myself, create energy and build stories people want to follow. When I speak or collaborate with a brand, I bring that whole background with me. It means I can talk about safety, young people, motivation, digital culture and trust with both practical experience and a feel for how messages land.

Experience and background

Things I have done along the way.

Patrik's path runs through police work, social media, TV, education, training, adventure, speaking and community. The combination makes it possible to talk about trust, safety, movement and digital presence with concrete examples.

  • TV4

    Elitstyrkans hemligheter

Elitstyrkans hemligheter became one of the most demanding experiences I have been part of, physically and mentally. I brought lessons about pressure, setbacks, teamwork and the importance of continuing even when things do not go as planned.

  • Kanal 5 and HBO Max

    Fångat på polisens kamera

Participation in a program where real situations from police work are shown. For me it is about showing the person behind the uniform and the importance of trust.

  • Press and interviews

I and Team Lost have appeared in Swedish media in contexts connected to police work, social media, training, digital safety and young people's lives online.

EducationAcademic foundation in police work.
  • Linnaeus University

    Bachelor's degree in police work

I have a bachelor's degree in police work from Linnaeus University. The education connects practical experience from meeting people with an academic foundation in safety, society and police work.

Challenges and adventureRaces, pressure and experiences.

The performances are not used as a perfect answer, but as experience of direction, setbacks, teamwork and courage.

  • Swimrun and endurance

I have completed and documented several swimrun and endurance races, including Jonkoping Swimrun, Koster Swimrun, Rockman Swimrun and OTILLO formats.

  • Wins and podiums

Together with Fanny, I have won Rockman Swimrun, won mixed class in Jonkoping Swimrun 35 km and taken third place in mixed class at Koster Swimrun.

  • Triathlon, obstacle racing and open water

I have also taken on challenges such as Ironman 70.3 Jonkoping, Cannes International Triathlon, Tough Viking and open-water events.

  • Adventure as content

Through Team Lost, training, travel, outdoor, photography and film have become a natural part of my storytelling.

Digital safetySafety, young people and conversations people can understand.
  • Young people online

I talk about young people's digital everyday life with a focus on relationships, language, adult presence and concrete examples rather than fear.

  • Social media

My own channels and talks give me a concrete understanding of how platforms, tone and digital culture affect young people.

  • Communication that builds trust

The focus is clarity, warmth and recognition so difficult questions become easier to talk about.

  • Adult presence and dialogue

The goal is for adults to dare to talk, listen and be present even when they do not know everything about the platforms.

Gaming and communityGaming, Discord and digital belonging.
  • Discord

Gaming and digital communities are an important part of my platform. For many young people, Discord, Roblox, Minecraft, TikTok and Snapchat are natural parts of everyday life, where friendships, language, status and conflicts are shaped.

  • Gaming

Gaming becomes a way into conversations about belonging, language, peer pressure, safety and adult presence.

  • Minecraft and Roblox-related projects

Minecraft and Roblox-related projects make digital safety more concrete and easier to connect to young people's everyday lives.

  • Safe digital community

Presence in community environments makes it possible to build trust over time, not only talk about risks from the outside.

Travel, training and photographyStorytelling through places, movement and images.
  • Team Lost

Through Team Lost, travel, training, outdoor, photography and film have become a natural part of my expression and collaborations.

  • Outdoor

Outdoor, movement and adventure are recurring parts of my storytelling and collaborations.

  • Photography and film

Photography and film are used to capture places, people and experiences in a way that feels close and credible.

  • Destinations and content

I help destinations and companies create visibility through presence, social publishing and content that builds feeling around a place.
